No, at least not directly. However, we exist because we specifically believe in the sanctity of life, traditional marriage, and religious freedom. The latter is tearing up the recent headlines. Liberals celebrated when Pope Francis seem to soften his approach to gays and lesbians, \u201cIf someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?\u201d And more recently, Indiana Governor Mike Pence is headline news with the proposed Religious Freedom Restoration Act.<\/p>\n<p>To help our readers stay informed, we\u2019re passing along a couple of recent articles that we believe present some semblance of unbiased sanity.<\/p>\n<p>CNN (subject of allegations of liberal bias) published an article Indiana\u2019s religious freedom law: <a title=\" CNN site \" href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2015\/03\/27\/politics\/indiana-religous-freedom-explainer\/\" target=\"_blank\">What you need to know<\/a>. What caught my eye was the comment by CNN Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin, \u201cThe only reason these law have passed is because of same sex marriage.<\/p>\n<p>The Weekly Standard posted <a title=\" Weekly Standard site \" href=\"http:\/\/www.weeklystandard.com\/blogs\/indianas-religious-freedom-restoration-act-explained_900641.html\" target=\"_blank\">social media comments<\/a> from Ashton Kutcher and Hillary Clinton, and other celebrities, politicians and journalists who are absolutely outraged saying that this law is a \u201clicense to discriminate against gay people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If indeed CNN\u2019s Toobin is correct, same sex marriage is the driving force behind the outrage. As Christians, we live in perilous times. Pope Francis calls us not to be \u201ctempted by confusing presentation of sexuality, marriage and the family\u201d which he says are \u201cunder attack from powerful forces which threaten to disfigure God\u2019s plan..\u201d As Cardinal, he called same-sex marriage \u201canti-value and destructive to the plan of God &#8211; the envy of the devil.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If the outrage over Indiana\u2019s bill (<a title=\" Indianapolis Star newspaper site \" href=\"http:\/\/www.indystar.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2015\/03\/27\/text-indianas-religious-freedom-law\/70539772\/\" target=\"_blank\">here in its entirety<\/a>) is not an example of evil at work in our world today, nothing is.
