{"id":323,"date":"2015-05-06T13:46:11","date_gmt":"2015-05-06T17:46:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stewardshipworks.org\/blog\/?p=323"},"modified":"2015-05-06T13:46:11","modified_gmt":"2015-05-06T17:46:11","slug":"millennials-hope-for-the-unborn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stewardshipworks.org\/blog\/?p=323","title":{"rendered":"Millennials: Hope for the Unborn?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every year since 1973, pro-life demonstrators have boarded buses and sung themselves silly on the road to the U.S. Capital to join the <a title=\" March For Life site \" href=\"http:\/\/marchforlife.org\/history-of-the-march-for-life\/\" target=\"_blank\">March for Life<\/a>. And for the first time in decades, there are signs of hope that Roe v. Wade won\u2019t survive the millennial generation.<\/p>\n<p>The March grew from a couple dozen protestors to hundreds of thousands pouring in from all 50 states and even other countries. Yet it didn\u2019t seem to make a difference with lawmakers. However, advances in medicine and emerging technologies, like the Internet, that help educate youth is having a positive impact on young people. According to a recent <a title=\" USA Today site \" href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/opinion\/2015\/03\/23\/abortion-generation-demographics-choice-life-column\/24900705\/\" target=\"_blank\">USA Today article<\/a>, millennials themselves are deciding that abortion should not be legal and identify themselves as pro-life.<\/p>\n<p>This year marked the 28th annual conference for <a title=\" Students For Life of America site \" href=\"http:\/\/sflalive.org\/\">Students For Life of America<\/a>. Attendance was high and demand so huge that the the SFLA had to schedule an extra day of the conference. Speaker Robert P. George, a law professor at Princeton University, applauded the dedication of pro-life leaders and honored the youth that are now seeing \u201cthe reality of the beautiful human life of the child in the womb.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This leads me to share a story we ran across on the SFLA website. Let me just say that Ben (fictitious name) wandered by a \u201c<em>When Do Human Rights Begin?<\/em>\u201d display at a university in Iowa and asked the question all pro-lifers dread.
